Ingredients
Scale
For the Crust:
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
1 cup orzo pasta
2 cups broccoli florets
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add cubed chicken and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes.
Add orzo pasta to the skillet and stir to coat with the oil and chicken juices. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until orzo is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
Add broccoli florets and heavy cream. Stir well, cover, and cook for another 3-4 minutes until broccoli is tender.
Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Serve warm.
