Cajun Beef Linguine in Creamy Velveeta Parmesan Garlic Sauce

  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 6 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella (optional)
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine pasta according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
  3. Add Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for a few minutes until slightly reduced.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low.
  7. Add cubed Velveeta cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  8. Add grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella (if using). Stir until well combined.
  9. Add cooked linguine pasta to the skillet and toss with the sauce until coated.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
