Cheeseburger French Fry Bake

A delicious and easy casserole that combines the flavors of a cheeseburger with crispy French fries.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cups frozen French fries
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced pickles (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned and onion is soft. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Arrange frozen French fries in a single layer over the beef mixture.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until fries are golden and crispy.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  8. Garnish with diced pickles if desired and serve hot.
