For the Crust:
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 (14 oz) bag caramels, unwrapped
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and pecans in a bowl. Press firmly into the prepared pan.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt caramels with heavy cream, stirring constantly until smooth. Pour over crust.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes until caramel sets.
- Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Spread over caramel layer.
- Chill for 2 hours before cutting into bars.
