For the Crust:
- 1 cup crushed Butterfinger candy bars
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup crushed peanuts (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, mix crushed Butterfinger bars and softened cream cheese until well combined.
- Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1-inch diameter) and place on a parchment-lined tray. Freeze for 30 minutes.
- Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Dip each frozen Butterfinger ball into the melted chocolate, coating completely. Place back on the tray.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the truffles and sprinkle with crushed peanuts if desired.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
