  • 1/2 cup (120 g) sour cream
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) mayonnaise
  • 1/2 lb (225 g) ground beef
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 1 tablespoon bourbon (optional, but recommended)
  • 1 cup (120 g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup (60 g) pickles, finely diced (optional, for garnish)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook bacon until crispy, then crumble and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned and cooked through; drain excess fat.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
  5. Add cooked ground beef, crumbled bacon (reserve some for topping), BBQ sauce, bourbon, shredded cheddar, and shredded mozzarella to the cream cheese mixture; stir well to combine.
  6. Transfer mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Top with reserved bacon and additional shredded cheese if desired.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and heated through.
  9. Remove from oven and garnish with diced pickles and chopped green onions before serving.
  10. Serve warm with crackers, chips, or sliced bread.

Notes
