For the Crust:
- 1 package crescent roll dough
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup blueberry compote or jam
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar for topping
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Spread a spoonful of cream cheese mixture on each triangle, then top with a spoonful of blueberry compote.
- Roll up each triangle starting from the wide end and place on the baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
