For the Crust:
- 1 box brownie mix (plus required ingredients)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Prepare brownie mix according to package directions and bake in a 9×9 pan. Let cool completely.
- For cookie dough: Heat-treat flour by microwaving for 1 minute. Cream butter and sugars, then mix in milk and vanilla. Stir in flour and chopped cherries.
- Roll cookie dough into small balls (about 1 tbsp each). Flatten slightly and place a small square of brownie in the center, wrapping dough around it.
- Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil. Dip each bomb in chocolate and place on parchment paper. Chill until set (about 30 minutes).
