For the Crust:
- 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- Gummy worms (optional, for decoration)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a ziplock bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- In another bowl, whisk the chocolate pudding mix with cold milk until thickened, then fold in the whipped topping.
- Combine the cream cheese mixture with the pudding mixture until well blended.
- Layer half of the crushed Oreos in the bottom of a serving dish, followed by half of the pudding mixture. Repeat the layers.
- Top with additional crushed Oreos and gummy worms if desired.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
