For the Crust:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 (0.7 oz) packet Italian dressing mix
1 (10.5 oz) can condensed golden mushroom soup
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup dry white wine (optional)
8 oz angel hair pasta, cooked
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
Place chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker.
In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, Italian dressing mix, golden mushroom soup, chicken broth, cream cheese, and white wine (if using) until smooth.
Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or HIGH for 2-3 hours, until chicken is tender and cooked through.
Serve the chicken and sauce over cooked angel hair pasta.
