1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Vegetable oil for frying
For the dipping sauce: 1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp horseradish
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
In a bowl, mix flour, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper
In another bowl, place beaten eggs, and in a third bowl, place panko breadcrumbs., Dredge each shrimp in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs., Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels., For the dipping sauce, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl. Mix well., Serve the crispy shrimp immediately with the special dipping sauce.
