Ingredients
Scale
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Vegetable oil for frying
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp horseradish
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
In a bowl, mix flour, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Set up three stations: seasoned flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs.
Dredge each shrimp in flour, dip in egg, then coat in panko, pressing gently to adhere.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
For the dipping sauce, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl.
Serve shrimp hot with the special dipping sauce on the side.
