For the Crust:
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
- 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, cottage cheese, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and chopped chives.
- Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
