Baileys Brownies

Rich and fudgy brownies infused with Baileys Irish Cream, perfect for a decadent dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter
  • 8 oz (225g) dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups (300g) granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (50g) cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) Baileys Irish Cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water, melt the butter and chocolate together until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Stir in the sugar, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and fold until just combined. Stir in the Baileys Irish Cream.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  6. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

For extra richness, serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. These brownies keep well in an airtight container for up to 5 days. You can substitute Baileys with another Irish cream liqueur if desired.
