Bacon-Wrapped Mac & Cheese Bites

Cheesy macaroni and cheese bites wrapped in bacon, baked to crispy perfection, making a delicious appetizer or fun family dinner.

  • 1 cup macaroni
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
  • 12 slices bacon
  • Salt, to taste
  • Paprika, to taste
  • Butter (amount unspecified, inferred from typical recipes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Boil salted water and cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and place in a bowl.
  3. Stir in cheddar cheese, milk, butter, cream cheese, and parmesan cheese until well combined.
  4. Spray a muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray.
  5. Wrap each muffin cup with a slice of bacon, lining the inside.
  6. Fill each bacon-lined cup with the macaroni and cheese mixture.
  7. Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes until bacon is crispy and cheese is bubbly.
  8. Remove from oven and serve warm.

Notes

Use slightly undercooked bacon so it crisps perfectly in the oven without becoming too hard. These bites can be prepared ahead and reheated in the oven. They also freeze well for up to four weeks.
