For the Crust:
- 8 large dill pickles, halved lengthwise
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Pat the pickle halves dry with paper towels and scoop out the centers to create a hollow space.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
- Fill each pickle half with the cream cheese mixture and press the halves back together.
- Dredge each stuffed pickle in flour, dip in beaten egg, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place pickles in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy. Serve warm.
