For the Crust:
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss chicken wings with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Place in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until wings are crispy and golden.
- Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar. Simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Toss cooked wings in the sauce until fully coated. Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
