30-Minute Grilled Chicken Sandwich

A quick and delicious grilled chicken sandwich with fresh toppings, perfect for a weeknight meal.

For the Crust:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness, then rub with olive oil and season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Assemble sandwiches by spreading mayonnaise on the buns, then layering lettuce, tomato, grilled chicken, and cheese.
