30-Minute Grilled Chicken Sandwich

A quick and flavorful grilled chicken sandwich perfect for a weeknight dinner or weekend lunch.

For the Crust:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 sandwich buns
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness and rub with olive oil. Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  4. Toast sandwich buns lightly on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Mix mayonnaise and Dijon mustard in a small bowl. Spread on the bottom half of each bun.
  6. Assemble sandwiches with lettuce, tomato slices, and grilled chicken. Serve immediately.
